The 17th century palace in Narol
In nearby Narol, a small town on the borderland of the old Galicia and Congress Poland, there is a 17th century palace built by Feliks Antoni Los.
The palace, pavilions and arcades were built on a horsehoe plan, the main motif of the Los family coat of arms. The palace was considered to be one of the most beautiful late Baroque residences in Poland. Regrettably, it was damaged during wartime and fell into ruin. Presently, the Pro Academia Narolese Foundation is making attempts to restore the building to its former glory.
